Graduate Teacher Hull

Are you looking to become a Teacher? Or are you recently looking for that next step after University? Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit recent graduates around the Hull area to enrol in our September 2019 Graduate Teachers Program! If you are considering a career in education or have a passion for teaching others, this is the program for you!

Graduate Teacher Program:

The Graduate Teachers Program provides Graduates with the right platform to gain valuable experience within schools so that they can progress and gain a position on a teacher training course for September 2020. We work in partnership with many different universities, schools and educational facilities so that the right individual can be placed and work within classes full time for one year so that they can gain the necessary experience.

The role will involve working within class rooms as a Teaching Assistant, guided by a mentor who will work with you through the placement. Possible duties will include working 1:1 with students, mentoring them, lesson planning, group work, developing education plans and providing cover supervision.

Graduate Teacher Benefits:

  • Paid up to £1200 a month for the first 12 months whilst gaining essential and invaluable experience as a teaching assistant
  • Gain confidence, subject knowledge and teaching ability prior to beginning your training
  • The opportunity to pursue a career within Secondary, Primary Education or SEN

Graduate Teacher Candidate Requirements:

  • You must have a graduated by July 2019
  • Be available for September 2019 start
  • Have experience in English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, MFL or PE.
  • Commit Monday to Friday 08:30 to 15:30
  • Live in or be able to commute to the Hull area
