It’s hard to know where to begin when you graduate with QTS in such a competitive field, however, Teaching Personnel can find you your first teaching position and kick-start your journey into full time teaching.

Teaching Personnel are the UK’s leading education recruitment agency who have helped thousands of teachers find short-term, long-term, temporary, and permanent teaching roles since we began in 1996.

We are looking for final year students who are due to graduate in Summer 2024 interested in long term teaching positions starting in September. We work closely with partner schools covering a wide geographical area of Manchester, including primary and secondary schools in Manchester north, south and west, as well as SEN branches in the east and west.  There are hundreds of primary and secondary schools throughout the Greater Manchester area there are plenty of schools to choose from.

Ultimately, we work for you to find you work that suits your experience level in a year group that you are most suited to. Roles can vary between having full classroom responsibilities, planning, and delivering high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum, covering regular PPA time or even providing specialised teacher intervention support in Maths and English. We also offer school -led tuition for if you are looking for curriculum experience before jumping into full class teaching.

As part of Teaching Personnel, we can offer you:

  • Full time or part time teaching work – September start

  • Your preferred Key Stage to teach from EYFS to Year 6.
  • Competitive rates of pay between £120 - £150 per day.

Teaching with Teaching Personnel can lead onto further job opportunities as many of our long-term vacancies lead directly to permanent roles within the same school.
