Geography teacher - Tameside

Academy school in Stalybridge require a teacher of Humanities after a recent unexpected vacancy within their department. The post will consist of KS3, KS4 teaching Geography. This will be commencing after October half term to Easter initially.

This Academy school was graded “Good” in its latest Ofsted report. There is a high percentage of students eligible for free school meals 29% in this diverse catchment area. Medium sized with just over 700 students you will be well supported by an experienced Head of Department and senior leadership team. The timetable is predominantly Geography but there will be at times an expectation to assist the Humanities department as required.

You will need to have a proven track record of success and raising attainment as the school looks to make continuous improvements towards there whole school plan. The successful Geography teacher will have a proven track record of raising attainment and achieving results to assist the Humanities department as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
