Humanities Teacher - Tameside

  • Full time position in an Oftsed Good school
  • Paid to your scale point M1-M6
  • Teaching students who are respectful and whose behaviour was graded "Good" by Ofsted

Humanities teacher required for large mixed comprehensive in Tameside. If you are a teacher of Humanities specialising in Geography or History Teaching Personnel welcomes your application.

This is initially a temporary post for a term starting at the end of September through to Christmas. The timetable will consist of KS3 and KS4 Teaching so previous experience of this is essential. If you are currently looking for a new challenge this is an excellent opportunity at a Good graded Ofsted school. Situated in the SK14 post code the school is within a mile of the M67 and has train and bus routes close by.

With over 35% of students using English as an additional language you will need to have the ability to differentiate between learners needs in this multi cultural school. Achieving just below the national average but increasing for the last 3 years the school are looking to improve on the number of students achieving 5 A*-C GCSE grades. You will be working within a supportive department with and teaching students whose behaviour was graded “Good” by Ofsted in their latest report 2015.
