Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Farnborough, starting September 2024.

Key Details: Start Date: September 2024 Location: Farnborough, Hampshire ⏰ Full-Time Position Teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Longer-term position with potential transition to temp-to-perm

What You'll Do:

  • Spark curiosity and ignite a love for geography in students through engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Teach a diverse range of learners at both Key Stage 3 and 4, covering a variety of geographical topics and concepts.
  • Foster critical thinking and geographical skills in students, helping them understand the world around them and their place in it.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school's Geography curriculum, incorporating real-world examples and current events.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, helping them develop a deeper understanding of geographical principles and prepare for exams.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Geography Teachers with experience teaching Key Stage 3 and/or 4.
  • ECTs qualifying this year are encouraged to apply.
  • Unqualified teachers with relevant experience or a passion for geography are also welcome to apply.
  • Enthusiastic individuals with a genuine love for geography and a desire to inspire the next generation of global citizens.
  • Strong communicators with excellent classroom management skills.
