Geography Teacher Batley
Are you an experienced Geography Teacher or a new qualified teacher and seeking an existing new job opportunity in Batley?
Teaching Personnel has an exciting opportunity for a high quality Teacher of Geography to join an ambitious and prosperous school from January. The school is situated in the Batley area and is very close to highly accessible rail & bus transport links.
We are looking for a teacher who has a passion to raise ambitions for all students over varying age ranges and someone who is committed to conducting the highest standards of teaching. The candidate will demonstrate vision and passion, joining a dedicated team of teachers in a successful Humanities department.
A successful candidate will-
- Hold a qualified teacher status in the UK
 - Have experience working with KS3 and KS4 pupils
 - Can teach grade 1-9 GCSE Geography
 - Have a strong vision and strategy to help motivate students and raise attainment in Geography
 - Be able to think on their feet and have a positive attitude towards teaching young people
 - Hold a DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one
 
The ideal candidate for this role will have an extensive knowledge and passion towards Geography in secondary education, and help shape the future success of the school. We are looking for someone who is driven to achieve results, whilst always remaining professional and supportive in their role.
The school would consider either a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced Geography teacher. The main aim of employment is to find someone that shares the vision for delivering the highest standards of education to the pupils and someone who can maintain the levels of achievement that have been reached by the Humanities department.
