Are you an experienced teaching assistant who is looking for an exciting new role within a welcoming Primary school based in North Leeds , LS14?
Teaching Personnel is currently working alongside a well-known school in LS14 who are looking for a dynamic, experienced teaching assistant to join them and work in KS2.
The schools mission is to provide first rate teaching, learning and extra-curricular activities within a caring and supportive environment.
The school is extremely proud of their students and their successes and achievements in recent years, they aim to provide a secure caring and structured environment in which all students regardless of race or culture are encouraged to strive for excellence and to develop self-reliance, self-discipline, self-confidence through participation in a wide range of academic, cultural and social activities.
The role will include working with students within in both the Minastream and the SEN department on a 1-2-1 basis or getting them involved with group exercises and encouraging them to get involved.
Experience of working alongside individuals who have ADHD, Autism, and Asperger syndrome would be huge advantage due to some of the students you will be working with.
To be successful in your application you will have the following;

- Educated to degree level (Desired not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and enthusiastic
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education.
