Role
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with experience in the Primary sector who is available after October half-term for a permanent position. The school is located in LS9 just 10 minutes away from the Leeds City Centre. Public transport route are also easily accessible to the school. The role will involve supporting classes across EYFS and Key Stage 1 and working with 3 other Teaching Assistants in school.
Ideal candidate
The school are looking for a:
- Teaching Assistant with Level 3 NVQ/CACHE
- Teaching Assistant with previous experience in the Primary sector
- Teaching Assistant available full-time after October half-term
School
The school received 'Good' at its last Ofsted in 2016 and land are on there way to Outstanding. The school currently have 4 Teaching Assistants who work across EYFS and Key Stage 1 who you will be required to work with on a daily basis. Teaching Assistants are required to work from 8:30am - 3:30pm as well as complete activities during lunch-time.
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as; Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.
These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education. In addition to this we work alongside many leaders of education and have our own ex-head teacher that provides candidates with bespoke, high-quality training. The CPD on offer will assist with your personal and career development, making you the most highly sought candidates in the market.
