General Teaching Assistant, Colne (BB8) 

Full time, Monday-Friday.

Starting May 2024, possibility of temp to perm

Competitive rates of pay between £12.82 - £13.50.

A client school in Colne (BB9) has come forward with fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Teaching Assistant. If you are passionate about education, enjoy working with children, and are eager to make a positive impact within a supportive school community, we encourage you to apply. If you have experience in a school setting or a background of care then you will be considered or the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of classroom activities.
  • Work with individuals or small groups of students to reinforce learning and address specific needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting a caring and respectful atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from the classroom teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
