A 'Good' Secondary school based in the S5 area of seeking Sheffield are looking to appoint a Teacher of Science up until Christmas 2016. The candidate will be both a creative and dedicated Science Teacher who is able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that keep Year 7-11 pupils focused on class work. The school is very supportive and is ideally looking for a Teacher who can commit themselves to the school at least until Christmas.



The school is located in a community focused neighborhood where people from all backgrounds comes together and celebrate one another's differences. Pupils in this school are for the most part well behaved, although there are some challenging children who need a firm but fair approach which is why a good level of behavior management is a plus. Behavior in general has improved across the school since the new sporting facilities have been installed as pupils are allowed either after school or at lunch time to use the facilities on offer and burn off any additional energy in a positive way.

The Science Department is a mixture of highly experienced and newly qualified teachers, both bringing essential skills to the excellent faculty. The Science Department work very closely together especially when planning lessons and creating or finding resources to help raise attainment across all Key Stages.
