A forward thinking Secondary school in a mixed urban area of North Leeds are currently seeking a qualified Science teacher. The school was recently graded 'Good' by Ofsted and prides itself on offering a high standard of education to a diverse cohort of students.

The school are ideally seeking an experienced Science teacher with a proven track record of being able to support and enhance progression of their students, with an enthusiastic and adaptive approach to teaching. However, they are also willing to consider newly-qualified teachers who have had successful teaching placements and the drive to succeed. Successful candidates must be able to engage students in their Science lessons with exciting practical lessons as well as an enthusiastic approach to theory lessons.

The school are committed to providing an excellent learning environment to their students and also offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities for pupils both in school hours and after school and therefore the ideal candidate would be able to offer an activity in line with this. The role will start in October 2016 until the end of the Autumn term however for the right candidate there may be opportunity to extend the contract to a permanent role at the school. The school is committed to the progression of their staff and offer a wide range of CPD courses throughout the academic year.
