This is a flexible role open to teachers across all subjects — if you hold QTS and you're confident managing a secondary classroom, we'd like to hear from you.

What the role involves:

• Covering planned and unplanned absences across Sunderland secondary schools

• Upholding safeguarding responsibilities in every setting

To be considered:

• QTS or equivalent — essential
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Confident and adaptable across different classroom environments
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
