Role Overview: As General Cover Staff, you will be stepping into classrooms across Leeds, providing vital support by covering for absent teachers. Your role will involve delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a constructive learning environment. This position is perfect for those who enjoy variety and flexibility in their workday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering lesson plans as set out by the permanent teaching staff.
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Adapting to varying educational settings and age groups.
- Providing feedback on student performance and any significant incidents.
- Assisting with school events and activities as needed.
