Job Title: GCSE Tutor

Location: England, Greater London, Enfield

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions to GCSE students in core subjects (English, Maths and Science).
  • Assess students' learning needs and create personalised learning plans.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles.
  • Monitor and track student performance and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student learning and development.

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE-level subjects.

Education:

A degree in Education or a related field.

Experience:

Prior experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE-level subjects.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple students effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
