GCSE Intervention Tutors- Immediately Required

There are multiple part time positions available for GCSE Tutors to work in and around the New Romney area. These positions are for Qualified Teachers, high level graduates or professionals who have significant tutoring experience.

The role of a Tutor will involve working on a 1:1 basis with pupils who are being educated outside of Mainstream Education. The pupils who require tuition may have a variety of needs including: PMLD, challenging behaviour or they may be looked after children. To be considered for this role you should have Qualified Teacher Status, however individuals with various other qualifications such as further Education PDGE's would be considered.

This particular tuition is for pupils who require extra support with their GCSE's in particular Maths, English and Science. The pupils are looking for support in achieving national expectations in their GCSE's in core subjects. These positions are temporary and would suit a Tutor who currently has a teaching position and is looking to pick up additional hours.

If you wish to be considered for this role you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status or another relevant teaching qualification
• An understanding of the National Curriculum up to GCSE
• Experience working with pupils and young people
