Students are currently behind on predicted attainment due to the gap in education caused by coronavirus. Teaching Personnel are currently searching for a teacher to help raise the GCSE attainment for Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 students’.
GCSE intervention specialists needed to improve attainment in struggling students
Schools based in North London are recruiting for additional Teachers to support with boosting the attainment of core subjects – literacy & numeracy. As part of the GCSE Booster role you will support students in a one-to-one and small group basis.
Ideally schools are looking for a Teacher to work 3 or 5 days per week up until the GCSE period or for the right candidate; the end of the academic year. The hours will be 8:15am-3:30pm and there will be minimal marking.
GCSE Booster responsibilities include:
- Identifying student learning gaps and helping to narrow them working with their individual education plan.
- Encouraging and supporting pupils, building their confidence leading up to their GCSEs subsequently; raising attainment by going over past papers etc.
- Providing feedback to regular class teachers on individual pupil progress.
- Assisting with the workload of permanent staff.
