Future teachers programme

Are you a recent graduate, who is looking for an exciting opportunity, teaching students your specialist subject knowledge and gaining valuable classroom experience?

  • Future Teachers Programme
  • Starting in September, in the new academic year
  • Competitive weekly pay (£259 - £309)
  • Teaching students in KS3-4
  • Located in Manchester

Teaching Personnel are seeking graduates who are looking to kick start their teaching career, working in our client's secondary school. The Future Teachers Programme offers graduates who have a degree in Science, Maths, English or Humanities the opportunity to gain teaching experience in a number of different roles, such as;

  • General classroom assistant
  • One to one and small group tuition
  • SEN and Behaviour support
  • Covering lessons within your specialist subject
  • Opportunity to work in a rand of different schools

If you have just graduated and are thinking of doing a PGCE in the future, this is the perfect opportunity for you to gain invaluable teaching experience that will give you the confidence to become a great teacher. It will also give you the opportunity to find out if teaching is the career path that is right for you. The Future Teacher Programme will give you the opportunity to work in a range of different schools, giving you an idea of what type of school suits your style of teaching.

The successful Graduate who will be selected for the Future Teachers Programme will;

  • Have a degree in on off the main core subjects (Maths, English, Science and Humanities)
  • Have a passion for teaching, aspiring to become a fully qualified teacher in the future
  • Have experience working in a learning environment with students aged 11-18
  • Be able to commit to a full time teaching role
