If you answered yes, then the Teaching Personnel Future Teachers programme may be for you!

We are looking to hear from graduates who are keen on becoming primary teachers and have shown this ambition through working with children. Teaching is a rewarding but highly challenging profession so graduates have to possess the tenacity and determination to succeed as a future teacher.

Through the Teaching Personnel Future Teachers Programme, successful graduates will begin a year long programme as a graduate teaching assistant to gain the school-based knowledge and tools to be excellent teachers. After a full academic year, Teaching Personnel will then recommend to the school for you to be put forward for a School Direct, where the school will fund your teaching qualification. After completing the qualification you will then be required to return to the school to teach for a minimum of 1 academic year.

The ideal Graduate will have the following:

• 2:1 degree or higher (ideally from disciplines relating to education). A 'levels (grade C or equivalent) in English, Maths and Science
• Recent experience working with children (not essential)
• A sound understanding of educational issues and structures

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
