Further Education Teacher

Location: Uxbridge, Hillingdon

Ages: 18-22 years old

Needs: Autism, physical disabilities, mental health, sensory and behavioural needs.

Pay: £130-150 (negotiable) per day via PAYE NOT through umbrella company

Hours: 8:30-4:30pm Mondays to Thursdays during school term time

Contract dates: ASAP start date

Teaching Personnel are working with a large Ofsted rated outstanding academy trust with requirements for Further Education Teachers in Uxbridge for their special needs college. The college specialises in building independence/life skills and adapting learning to meet the needs of their students.

Requirements for FE Teachers:

  • Have relevant Qualified Teacher (QTS), Further Education (FE) Teacher. Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) qualifications.
  • Have previous experience of planning and/or teaching students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Able to travel daily to Uxbridge, Hillingdon.
  • Experience with PECS, TEACCH, sensory learning or Makaton is highly beneficial but NOT essential.
  • Have a Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one.
  • Have right to work in the UK.
