About the Role
As a tutor, you’ll provide personalised learning support to students—either one-to-one or in small group settings. You’ll adapt each session to suit individual learning needs, helping students improve their subject knowledge, study skills, and self-confidence.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver tailored tuition that supports individual learning goals

Help students progress through targeted teaching and regular feedback

Monitor performance and adjust strategies to maximise impact

Build confidence and motivation in core subjects
What We’re Looking For

Experience in teaching or tutoring English, Maths, or Science

A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed) is beneficial
-
Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service—or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
