About the Role

As a tutor, you’ll provide personalised learning support to students—either one-to-one or in small group settings. You’ll adapt each session to suit individual learning needs, helping students improve their subject knowledge, study skills, and self-confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored tuition that supports individual learning goals

• Help students progress through targeted teaching and regular feedback

• Monitor performance and adjust strategies to maximise impact

• Build confidence and motivation in core subjects

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in teaching or tutoring English, Maths, or Science

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed) is beneficial

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service—or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
