Fully Qualified Class Teacher's needed in Maidenhead

Teaching personal have the need for Class Teachers at one of our special educational needs schools in Maidenhead.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work full-time at a growing and flourishing school in Maidenhead. The school currently caters for 62 pupils but is due an expansion over the next year or two, and will then cater for 96 pupils. The students are aged 4 - 16 years all with a primary diagnosis of Autism. The school provide very insightful and informative training to support all staff throughout their journey, so they are looking for candidates who have a can-do attitude, a desire and willingness to commit to further training.

At all times during Teaching, you will have support staff around you, including 2-3 TA's per class of 8-10 students and a particular member of staff to support behaviour management, so that the Teacher can focus on the students 100%.

The Candidate - Our Class Teachers will need to be fully qualified (QTS status or equivalent) who are passionate about inclusion with excellent communication skills. You be able to demonstrate strong classroom management and the ability to prepare, plan, deliver and mark. It is important to be able to have the ability to compromise and find alternative plans based on the students needs and interests.

The Role - This SEN school are ideally looking for Class Teacher's that have previously supported pupils in an SEN setting but will consider teachers from a mainstream school wanting to develop their skills within an SEN school.

The roles are to start ASAP and September, full term time between 8:30-4:30.
