Due to a much earlier than expected maternity leave, this school are looking for a well prepared and experienced year 6 teacher to build on the impressive start the class have already had to the new academic year.

Teaching Personnel are working in tandem with this large Roman Catholic primary school to ensure we recruit the best quality teacher for the position. The school is currently 2.5 form entry with a near view expansion in early 2019. The successful year 6 teacher will be given adequate timetabled PPA time to plan alongside their parallel teacher and have the use of a skilled teaching assistant in class that currently takes a lead in maths and literacy intervention groups.

A year 6 teacher with previous SATs experience and a proven track record of raising attainment is a priority for the school to continue moving forward successfully.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
