Role Overview & Responsibilities:
As a full-time teacher, you will be expected to:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging, differentiated, and meet the needs of all pupils.

• Assess, monitor, and record pupils’ progress regularly, using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, to inform teaching and provide timely feedback.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes respect, engagement, and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively using established school policies and strategies, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning.

• Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and physical development, supporting their well-being and helping to build their confidence and resilience.

• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues, communicating effectively to support pupils’ learning and progress.

• Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders in curriculum development, whole-school initiatives, and professional development activities.

• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as clubs, trips, and events, supporting a well-rounded education.

• Participate actively in school meetings, training, and appraisal processes to continually improve your teaching practice.

• Uphold the professional standards and ethos of the school, including safeguarding responsibilities and maintaining confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching within the UK education system.

• Strong understanding and practical application of the National Curriculum.

• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

• Passion for inspiring and motivating pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

• Ability to differentiate learning and personalise teaching to meet pupil needs.

• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices.

• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.

• Resilience, adaptability, and a growth mindset.
