Role Overview & Responsibilities:
As a full-time teacher, you will be expected to:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum, ensuring lessons are engaging, differentiated, and meet the needs of all pupils.

Assess, monitor, and record pupils’ progress regularly, using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, to inform teaching and provide timely feedback.

Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes respect, engagement, and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively using established school policies and strategies, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to learning.

Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and physical development, supporting their well-being and helping to build their confidence and resilience.

Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues, communicating effectively to support pupils’ learning and progress.

Collaborate with colleagues and school leaders in curriculum development, whole-school initiatives, and professional development activities.

Contribute to extracurricular activities such as clubs, trips, and events, supporting a well-rounded education.

Participate actively in school meetings, training, and appraisal processes to continually improve your teaching practice.

Uphold the professional standards and ethos of the school, including safeguarding responsibilities and maintaining confidentiality.
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching within the UK education system.

Strong understanding and practical application of the National Curriculum.

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
-
Passion for inspiring and motivating pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Ability to differentiate learning and personalise teaching to meet pupil needs.
-
Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices.

Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
