Full time SEN support job Plymouth

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to fill an exciting role working at a school in Plymouth. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with students who are no longer in mainstream education. The role needs an enthusiastic and proactive approach to support a pupil with Autism with their school work and social engagement. With an early 2019 start, you will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, term time only.

Experience is not necessary, however candidates who have a background in youth work, outdoor pursuits, counselling, support work are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Ideal candidate:

  • Available to start as soon as possible and able to carry out a long term role.
  • Have at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care minimum.
  • Possesses a full, clean UK Driving license with daily car access.
  • Have a passion for working with children and supporting the development of social and emotional well being.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
