Full-Time Maths Teacher required in Cumbria from September

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a school in Cumbria who are seeking a Teacher of Maths on a full-time basis from September 2018. This school is based in the Workington area of Cumbria so any Maths Teachers wanting to apply for this position must be able to reach the area.

The current position is to cover a maternity leave within the Maths Dept. and will likely run until Easter 2019, initially. This is a 'Good' school where students achieve results in line with the national average and present welcoming behaviour. Both Newly Qualified Maths Teachers and Experienced Maths Teachers are invited to apply for this role.

The successful Maths Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality Maths lessons, attending whole school and departmental CPD, marking students work and the role of a Form Tutor.

To apply for this role you MUST have:

- A valid PGCE in Mathematics, ideally with QTS

- Recent teaching experience delivering KS3/4 Maths

- The ability to plan and deliver high quality Maths lessons

- DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)

- Valid references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
