Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a well-established school in Cambridge, to appoint an engaging French Teacher (NQT, FQT or OTT).

The Role

Teaching French to GCSE pupils between the ages of 11-18 years, you will be engaging and passionate about the subject. This is a long term position, with the possibility of becoming permanent.


  • Manage a class size of between 30-35 students
  • To teach, plan and mark at GCSE level
  • Occasional French trips may require your attendance and support to organise
  • Report to Head of Department

As an improving school, they have recently received a large amount of funding which has led to refurbishment in some areas of the school. The senior staff team are extremely supportive and aim to make a real difference to every pupil’s education. With approx.567 pupils on role, it is one of the smaller schools in Cambridgeshire.
