Are you a teacher, fluent in French and seeking work after Easter?

Would you like to work in a secondary school that boasts above average progress 8 scores and an Ofsted ‘Good’ grading?

If so, see details below of a vacancy for a teacher of French which is set to commence after the Easter period break. Despite this position being an Easter start there is also an opportunity for an earlier start for the right candidate.

  • Full time MFL teaching post from Easter 2020 (Temporary post for the remainder of the year)
  • Leading a timetable consisting of French to GCSE
  • High achieving 11-16 secondary school judged ‘GOOD’ during its most recent Ofsted inspection
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant upon experience

To be considered for this MFL teaching opportunity applicants are required to;

  • Hold QTS and a PGCE specialising within MFL
  • Be able to teach French to GCSE level and have recent experience with this.
  • Be confident delivering to all pupil abilities and managing behaviour in line with the schools policy

Our client secondary school is currently a ‘Good school’; however as a school they have much higher aspirations. The Headteacher has set a clear ambition to deliver ‘outstanding’ education for the students that attend their school. The school are committed to delivering the highest academic standards, to allow their students to realise their aspirational goals.

The school its self is smaller than the average secondary school and currently has 800 pupils on roll. Located on the boarder or Wigan and just minutes away from the A580, the school offers excellent access for those traveling from surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
