MFL teacher - French and Spanish

  • Full time position - initially one term with extension possible
  • Smaller than average secondary school - Recently graded ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted
  • Paid in line MPS/UPS scale dependant upon experience

MFL Teacher required at a Salford 11-16 secondary school

Due to an absence within their languages department, our client school located in Salford seek to appoint a modern foreign languages teacher (GCSE French and lower school Spanish) to cover a long term absence. This is a full time position expected to be required through till the Christmas break with the possibility of being extended.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience teaching French across the age and ability range including GCSE, lower school Spanish (KS3) is desired.

- UK QTS and 11-16 PGCE within MFL required

- Paid in line MPS/UPS scale dependant upon experience

- Recently graded ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted

- Located in the Eccles area of Salford

- Excellent facilities in a brand new state of the art building

Located in Eccles this school is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive and is much smaller than the average secondary school with just 595 pupils on roll. The school holds state of the art facilities and is easily accessible via the East Lancashire road and has good public transport links from the city centre. The schools results continue to improve year on year and all well above the national average in Salford (60% A*-C 2015).
