Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit SEND Teaching Assistants to work in Mainstream Primary schools in Wisbech and surrounding villages.

About the role

Our partner schools are in need of one to one support staff as well as general TAs to support in various year groups. The children vary in needs and ability and there may be a mix of working with in class and some time out of the classroom. These roles are temporary but many of which may develop into long term and even permanent.

About the school

The schools we work with are lovely, welcoming and supportive. Working in Wisbech and surrounding villages your working day will be between 08:30am and 15:30pm Monday to Friday, depending on the role. 

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant in Kings Lynn and surrounding villages you will:

  • Have some experience or working in a school or similar setting in the last 3 years (6 months minimum)
  • Hold a TA Qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Have experience working with and supporting children with SEND 
  • Hold a Driving License and willingness to travel to surrounding villages

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary

£92.38 to £110 per day (Highest-paying Agency in Cambridgeshire)

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
