Food Technology Teacher
South Manchester

Full time Food Technology teacher required for small successful secondary school in South Manchester.

Due to an upcoming vacancy in January, Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a dynamic, forward thinking Food Technology teacher to join a successful secondary school located in South Manchester. The successful teacher will be required on a full time basis from January until the end of the academic year in the first instance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a Newly Qualified Teacher looking to develop their career in a welcoming successful secondary school.

The successful teacher will be a well qualified Design Technology teacher specialising in Food Technology. They will have a proven track record of planning and delivering engaging lessons and will make a significant contribution to the department. We are looking for a Food Technology teacher who will be able to implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced curriculum to support students of all learning abilities. The ability to deliver GCSE Food Technology would be an advantage but is not essential as the successful teacher will be delivering a KS3 heavy curriculum. The appointed teacher will join a friendly and enthusiastic department and will contribute to raising the standards of student progress and attainment.

Highlights of this Food Technology role:

  • Full time role commencing January 2020 and continuing until the end of the academic year
  • Salary based on experience and pay scale (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490)
  • Delivering a KS3 heavy timetable
  • Introduction to a small welcoming secondary school located in South Manchester

The successful teacher will join a successful small secondary school located in South Manchester which is situated just a short drive from the city centre. Due to it’s location, the school welcomes students from a variety of backgrounds. The school has an inclusive ethos focused on providing the best quality teaching and learning for students and ensuring that all barriers to learning are removed. We are looking for a committed teacher who will join our client school and support them on their journey towards academic excellence.
