On behalf of my partner school in Halifax, I am currently looking to appoint an experienced and outstanding Food Technology teacher at our secondary school. Starting as soon as possible, it will be a 5 days a week role with scope for a permanent contract to be offered depending on the candidate.

The Head teacher is looking for a confident Food Technology Teacher who can teach KS3, 4 &5, and deliver engaging & informative Food Technology lessons daily. As a leading Secondary School in the area, they have very high expectations. Our vision is to create opportunities within and beyond the curriculum to enable each student to become confident, independent and successful citizens in modern Britain

JOB DESCRIPTION – FOOD TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

  • Food Technology Teacher
  • Inspiring and motivating the younger generation, and bringing out their love for cooking
  • Teaching Food Technology to KS3,4 & 5
  • ASAP Start – Full Time – Long-Term or Permanent basis

PERSON SPECIFICATION – FOOD TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

  • Must have UK QTS
  • Hold QTS, a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
  • Experienced and NQTs are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to teach Food Technology between Key Stages 3-5
  • You must be passionate with a creative edge
  • Proven history of delivering ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ lessons
