Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit Flexible Primary Teaching Assistants to support a range of Primary Schools in the Newton Abbot area.

About the Role:

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils aged 4–11 across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

• Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging, creative learning

• Provide 1:1 and small group support, including for children with additional needs

• Assist with phonics, reading, numeracy and classroom activities

• Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all pupils

What You’ll Need:

• Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work or similar)

• A friendly, proactive and patient approach

• A genuine interest in primary education

• Flexibility to work across different schools in the Newton Abbot area

• A child workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
