Flexible SEND Work That Fits Around You | East Sussex
Not everyone wants a full-time role.
Some people want meaningful work that fits around family life, study, self-employment or other commitments.
SEND and SEMH schools across East Sussex regularly require flexible staff to support with day-to-day and short-term cover.
The Reality
This work often comes in at short notice.
That means:
- Morning calls between 7:30am and 8:00am
- Same-day placements
- Flexible working patterns
- Different schools and settings
Some weeks are busy. Others are quieter.
For the right person, that flexibility is a huge benefit.

Practical Information
- Teaching roles paid to scale
- TA / LSA roles paid at £92.60 per day
- Opportunities across East Sussex
- Immediate and September starts available
A child-only enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
