Female PE Teacher – Stockport

Teaching Personnel are searching for an experienced physical education teacher for a highly regarded Stockport secondary school. The role will start September 2021 as a full time, permanent position.

You will be expected to teach a full Physical education timetable in line with the national curriculum across each all year groups. You will need to actively support extracurricular activities and clubs, for example being assistant manager of the schools’ football team, running training sessions and sorting the logistical aspect of the team’s season.

You will be joining a supportive, young and popular department who will provide full support and training to help you seamlessly assimilate into the new position. The school invest heavily in their PE facilities and equipment to maintain a continuous level of achievement in both GCSE results and their various sports clubs.

The ideal candidate will either have experience teaching physical education or an NQT. You will need to have an approachable and friendly attitude with the willingness to go the extra mile to help support the department. Any additional coaching or health and safety badges acquired will also be beneficial.

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
