EYFS Teaching Assistant Needed in Preston PR1 Primary School!

Overview of the Role

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a 1 form entry Primary School in the Heart of Preston (PR1), the school are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work from January five days per week. This role is to start in January 2018 covering a planned absence until Summer 2018 at least. If all goes well, the Head may find a permanent role for you from September 2018 in an alternative year group. The school are looking for an experienced EYFS Practitioner; you do not have to have had experience in a school setting, how ever experience working with young children is essential. The school are looking for a practitioner who is Level 3 qualified or above.

Headteachers Statement

"We are a welcoming school with a strong Christian Ethos and a close-knit team. I am currently in search of a motivating EYFS Teaching Assistant to come and work alongside our EYFS teacher. The successful applicant must be experienced and able to think on their feet. The staff at our school are supportive and work closely together to create best practice; we are looking for someone who is able to contribute to that. This role is covering long-term sickness leave, I do work closely with Headteachers in the Preston, and therefor if you thrive in school I will recommend you to other schools when you finish your placement with us, or if possible I will try and find you a suitable role in our school."

Teaching Personnel work closely with a number of schools across Lancashire, I personally work with Primary Schools across Preston, Chorley and Leyland. We are able to offer a number of CPD Opportunities to Teachers that register with us and we are interested in constantly up-skilling Teachers that are registered with us. CPD courses include; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.
