EYFS Teaching Assistant

EYFS TA required, Manchester Primary School, Fallowfield (M14)

A larger than average 3-form entry school in the Fallowfield area of Manchester (M14) are working closely with Teaching Personnel to recruit a teaching assistant to join their EYFS staffing team. The successful candidate will work on a part time basis, 4 days a week Monday to Thursday. This role will begin in September 2021 and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.

The successful candidate will provide general classroom support throughout all activities, alongside the class teacher. They will also be expected to deliver small group sessions of around 5 pupils at a time. To be considered, applicants must have recent and relevant experience working with primary aged children, preferably within EYFS as they will be based in the school’s lovely reception class. Knowledge and prior experience using Phonics is extremely beneficial to this role, in particular the ‘Jolly Phonics’ Scheme.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
