EYFS Teaching Assistant

We’re currently working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in the M12 area who are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025.

This role is Monday to Friday during term time, supporting across the Early Years classroom. The school is looking for someone who is confident in working with young children, can build strong relationships, and is passionate about helping pupils thrive in their first years of school.

What the role involves:

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day activities and routines

• Working with small groups and 1:1, particularly supporting pupils with SEN needs

• Helping deliver and support phonics sessions (experience with a scheme such as Read Write Inc, Little Wandles or similar would be ideal)

• Creating a safe, engaging and supportive environment for all children

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in an Early Years setting

• Good understanding of phonics and early learning goals

• Confident supporting children with additional needs

• Reliable, friendly and able to work well as part of a team

• Available full-time from September 2025 through to July 2026
