Job Title: EYFS Teaching Assistant BD12

Location:

Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Bradford

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time

£83 - £90 per day

Job Duties:

1. Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

2. Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing activities for children.

3. Provide support to individual children and small groups with their learning.

4. Help create a safe and stimulating learning environment.

5. Assist in monitoring and assessing children's progress.

6. Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's development.

7. Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports as required.

Required Qualifications:

1. Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.

2. Enhanced DBS check.

3. Safeguarding training certification.

Education:

GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).

Experience:

Experience working with young children in an educational setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Understanding of the EYFS framework.

2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. First Aid certification.

2. Any additional relevant qualifications in childcare or education.

Working Conditions:

1. Part-time hours, temporary position.

2. Work in a classroom environment with young children.

3. May involve some physical activity and lifting.

4. Regular interaction with children, parents, and school staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
