Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development in their early years?
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and nurturing school in NW10, Brent. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in children’s education during their formative years.


About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and high-quality EYFS lessons and activities.

  • Help create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.

  • Assist with planning and preparation of learning materials and resources.

  • Support children with their personal, social, and emotional development.

  • Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and school leadership to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.

  • Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.


What We Are Looking For

  • Experience working in an EYFS (Early Years) setting, ideally within a nursery or reception class.

  • A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) is highly desirable.

  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A proactive, caring, and nurturing approach.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
