Date posted : 06/02/18
£29 - £31000 per annum

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Are you considering your option for after Easter or for the new academic year starting in September 2018? Would you like to get a head start on the competition by considering this excellent role as a EYFS coordinator for this lovely two form entry Primary school?

If you answered yes then we want to hear from you today!

***Recently rebuilt two form entry Church of England Primary - 'Good' Ofsted (June 2016)

***Great early years setting - fully resourced, large, bright space

***Low staff turnover and career progression opportunities - Ongoing professional development

About the School

Starting in Easter this year this lovely Church of England Primary school located in Battersea is looking to appoint a committed EYFS professional who is keen and able to lead the department as its coordinator. This post is currently vacant and is led by a member of the SLT. The post will be class based and the opportunity would be to teach in reception although there could be some movement on this for an exceptional candidate. Located in a lower socioeconomic part of the borough this school has an intake that include high numbers of SEN, EAL and free school meals children. Entry standards are typically lower than national average expected ability but the school works hard to ensure that children make significant progress and leave for secondary school with above average levels of attainment. The school has excellent facilities and was completely rebuilt in 2010. There are large, bright classrooms with well thought out spaces for both staff and children to learn and enjoy their day.

About the Role

The EYFS unit is staffed by some excellent teachers but could use the guidance of a committed, experienced coordinator to bring it to the next level. The school is happy to see applications from those already in this post but would also consider a highly experienced EYFS teacher who can show evidence of successfully dealing with responsibility and can demonstrate they are ready for the role. This is a friendly school where staff work well together as a team so someone who is personable and can lead by example will be best fit for the role. This is a permanent role that has a TLR 2b attached.

How to apply

If you like the sound of this excellent EYFS Coordinator role or you would like to talk through your requirements, please email your CV to Nathan at

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
