Location: Skelmersdale, Lancashire

Are you a confident and adaptable teacher with a passion for supporting pupils and schools? Teaching Personnel is seeking experienced educators to work across a variety of primary and secondary schools in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. We’re looking for professionals who are ready to make an impact from day one.

 What Makes a Great Candidate:

We’re looking for teachers who bring:

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • A commitment to inclusive learning and differentiated teaching
  • Confidence working with pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
  • A proactive and flexible approach to working across different school settings
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for education and pupil progress
  • Responsiveness and reliability during the registration and vetting process — including providing references, DBS details, and other compliance documents promptly
  • Willingness to maintain regular contact with your consultant to update availability and ensure we can place you in the most suitable roles quickly and effectively

 Preferred Qualifications & Training (Nice to Have):

While not essential, the following qualifications and training are highly valued by our partner schools:

  • Team Teach or equivalent behaviour support training
  • First Aid certification
  • CPD engagement – evidence of ongoing professional development
  • Familiarity with safeguarding procedures
  • DSL training or experience (beneficial but not required)

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
