Class Teacher: Key Stage 2

Location: Blackpool
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential for permanent placement)
Salary: £140–£200/day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Start Date: September 2025 or as soon as available

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool is seeking a dynamic Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join their team full-time. The Role

  • Full classroom responsibility for a Year 4 or Year 5 class (depending on experience).
  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff to support pupils with additional needs.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through clubs, events, and collaborative planning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and UK teaching experience.
  • A track record of delivering high-quality teaching and fostering pupil progress.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A positive, reflective practitioner who thrives in a team environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
