Experienced Secondary Teacher
Location: Blackwood, NP12
Salary- £172.98/day
Contract Type- Full time and Part time roles available
About the role –
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and resilient secondary school teacher to join a well-established mainstream school in Blackwood. This role involves delivering engaging lessons across your specialist subject to pupils aged 11–16 (KS3–KS4).
The successful candidate will be skilled in classroom management, able to establish clear routines, set high expectations, and create a focused learning environment where all pupils can succeed. You will be joining a supportive department within a school that values consistency, structure, and strong relationships as the foundation for effective teaching and learning.

Requirements –
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
- Level 2 Safeguarding training.
- Professional references covering the previous 24 months of employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
