Work in schools

Graduates and aspiring secondary teachers of the future, are you looking for paid school experience to support your application to a teacher training programme?

If you live in, or can commute to Sunderland, Teaching Personnel have various opportunities to work as a classroom cover supervisor, teaching assistant and learning support within high schools across Tyne and Wear. This work varies from casual day to day assignments and also more fixed block placements (1-6 months), working through supply is a quick turnaround and can get you that fast introduction to a school that suits you.

  • Graduate work , cover supervisor and teaching assistant
  • Work in local Sunderland schools
  • Full and part time, casual and block placement work available
  • Earn up to £75 per day (role and experience dependant)
  • A number of schools (11-16/18) mixed comprehensive secondary schools
  • Effective and quick registration process to help you gain a swift introduction

Teaching Personnel have been working with secondary schools across England and Wales since 1996. Working as a cover supervisor will give you first hand experience covering lessons in the absence of teachers. Teaching assistant work will be supporting in the classroom, possibly on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
