Job Title: Exam Invigilators – Secondary Schools (Carmarthenshire)
Location: Carmarthenshire
Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour

Start Date: May (in preparation for exam season)
About the Role
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Exam Invigilators to support Secondary Schools across Carmarthenshire during the upcoming exam season.
This is a flexible, seasonal opportunity ideal for individuals seeking part-time work. Shifts are available on a flexible basis and may include:
Morning sessions
Afternoon sessions
Full-day shifts
⏰ Hours will vary depending on each school’s exam timetable.
Full, FREE training provided – no prior experience required!
✅ Key Responsibilities
As an Exam Invigilator, you will:
Prepare examination rooms (setting up desks, distributing exam papers and materials)
Admit candidates into the exam room in a calm and organised manner
Read out instructions clearly and accurately
Supervise students during exams to maintain a secure and quiet environment
Ensure exam regulations are followed at all times
❓ Respond to candidate queries in line with exam board regulations
Distribute and collect exam papers efficiently
Escort students to and from the exam room where required
Record attendance and report any incidents or irregularities
Support students with approved access arrangements (where applicable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
