Our client secondary school located in North Manchester is currently seeking a teacher of English on a full time basis from Easter. This position is initially until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue in September 2018.

This is a mixed 11-16 comprehensive secondary school located in the North of Manchester City centre, the school is situated close to the M62 and is easily accessible via the surrounding areas Bury, Rochdale and Salford.

  • Get paid in line with your scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)

"Due to a member of the English department going on maternity leave, we are currently seeking an outstanding practitioner to join our faculty on a full time basis. This position will initially be until the end of the academic year but it may have the potential to continue in September 2018. The results our students have achieved in English have improved substantially but we are always striving to be outstanding. We are currently seeking an English teacher who has the ability to plan and prepare lessons differentiated to each individual student in order to stretch and challenge them to the best of their ability." Based in North Manchester, our client school is a large secondary which was newly built in recent years to serve the local community. The school was previously on separate sites, but merged into a purpose built state of the art site a few years ago, with a focus on teaching and learning in its design to serve the diverse catchment area and allow students to fully access the curriculum. The Head teacher and management have reinstated the importance of high teaching standards, having a positive impact on student's behaviour and attainment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
