English teacher needed for secondary school in Stockport to start a 12 month maternity cover in September 2019. This is a full time English post commencing in the new academic year with a timetable of 20 teaching hours delivering English across KS3/KS4.

Located in the heart of Stockport the school has most recently received an Ofsted rating of requires improvement but has historically been a Good school achieving well academically and above local averages.

The English department is large in size with 8 full time English teachers and an experienced Head of English. You will be provided with regular opportunities for career progression through consistent training and development courses.

Located in the SK7 post code of Stockport the school has direct train routes from Manchester and various bus routes for those who don't drive. Driving to the school can be located just off the M60 and via the A6.
