English Teacher required

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teacher who can deliver English across KS3/4 in a client school on the Wirral. The position is to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year initially.

Our client school is a smaller than average co-educational, comprehensive secondary school in Birkenhead on the Wirral; specialist in Business & Enterprise and Languages. The school welcomed students into its brand new building in September 2017 and offers a magnificent environment for learning. The school meets the government's current floor standards, which set the minimum expectations for students' attainment and progress and the students benefit from a curriculum offer which is broad and balanced.

Key features:

• KS3 and GCSE English (AQA, Edexcel)
• To start as soon as possible
• Support network from Head of Department and SLT

To be considered for this English position you will need to be/have:

• QTS or NQT status
• Experience teaching English to GCSE
• Enthusiasm, dedication, resilience and a passion for teaching

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
