Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a secondary school in Chester who have a need for a English teacher on a long term basis with a view to a permanent position for the right candidate. The school is a larger than average secondary and was graded good from their most recent OFSTED inspection during the last academic year.

In this rewarding English Teacher role you would need to plan and teach engaging lessons that challenge students with a mixture of abilities from Key Stages 3 - 5. Ideally you will have been graded as good or outstanding in recent observations and hold a passion for English and your specific discipline. You will receive full support from the department and Head Teacher. With a thriving English department this would be a great opportunity to join a school that has excellent resources and facilities.

The role:

- KS3-5 English teacher

- Full time position

- Supportive department with excellent facilities

- Allocated PPA/Planning time

- Salary negotiable (dependant on experience)

Requirements:

*English related degree of any discipline (Desirable)
*PGCE or Schools Direct background (Essential)
*Strong subject knowledge of English (Essential)
*Ability and energy to engage all abilities (Essential)
