"We require an English teacher who is looking for a long term/permanent teaching position starting with us on Tuesday 23rd April for the duration of the summer term. There is a gap in our English department as a result of one of our dedicated teachers relocating down South due to family reasons. We are looking for a teacher of English who is looking for a highly supportive secondary school either at the start of their teaching career or more experienced. NQTs are therefore encouraged to apply for consideration."

As can be seen above, our client secondary school are looking for an English teacher to join their English department in September. This is a full time teaching position whereby the successful teacher will be teaching across the curriculum focussing on KS3 in the first instance and a light timetable with year 10 students. This role will include teaching both English Language and English Literature following the AQA syllabus.
Highlights of this English teaching position:
- Pay ranging between £100 - £160 depending on payscale and experience
- Full time English teaching position, starting April 2019
- Likely to be on a supply basis in the first instance with the opportunity to progress onto a school based contract prior to the summer holiday if relevant for the appointed English teacher (permanent option available)
- Teach in a highly supportive school able to support NQTs through their induction programme
The school is situated on the East side of the city centre in pleasant surrounding with fantastic facilities. The successful English teacher should be willing to take on full planning and marking responsibilities, immersing themselves in the school culture and role. The Head of English is highly supportive and has a positive reputation within the school, assisting graduates within her department and teachers alike.
